A chance to join the largest and most advanced smart city development in Japan. CES2022 will give you a hint of what's to come!

Smart cities are now being planned in Japan. One of the projects that has been attracting particular attention is "Fukuoka Smart East," a project to solve social issues in the city in a sustainable manner by proactively introducing cutting-edge technologies at the former site of Kyushu University's Hakozaki Campus. Up until now, we have conducted a number of demonstrative experiments, including self-driving buses, drones, and a support service for disaster evacuation for international residents utilizing smartphones. We have been examining how we can quickly introduce cutting-edge technology and become a model city that we can be proud of in the future, while imagining the future on the vast, blank canvas of the former university site.
In order to make this urban development project a success, the technology and know-how of many companies from around the world will be indispensable, and we expect to begin recruiting partners to advance this development.
